Readers To Dreamers
Readers To Dreamers ® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded by Corinne Jolley and Aichuan Kwong. Because of their background in education and passion for representation in literacy, they created this organization to be the bridge between schools and children's book authors and illustrators. The co-founders have witnessed first hand the impact on students after an author or illustrator visit. It encourages students to write and draw, and it validates their stories.
Our Vision
Authors and illustrators have the power to unlock children’s creative ability, but far too many children never experience author visits at their schools. By connecting authors and illustrators with school students, we imagine a future where the readers of today become the storytellers of tomorrow.
Our Mission
Readers To Dreamers® aims to connect children of all races and economic backgrounds to multicultural books, authors, and illustrators through school author visits. We hope to share the magic of books and their creators to ALL elementary-aged children to foster the next generation of diverse authors and illustrators.
