Rev. Elliott Robinson, JD, MDiv founded the non-profit Creative Tension, which uses multimedia platforms, trainings, lectures and secondary school curricula to address bias and racism. Creative Tension produces the Creative Tension Podcast, which uses a mixture of interviews, archival audio and group discussions, to take an in-depth look at America’s Jim Crow period and its impact on society today.
Rev. Elliott is also an Adjunct Faculty and Teaching Assistant at both Emory University’s Candler School of Theology and Candler’s Certificate in Theological Studies Program at Arrendale Prison for Women. He’s also the Pastor of Nimno African Methodist Episcopal Church in Nicholson, GA.
He is a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Emory’s Candler School of Theology, where he received his Master of Divinity degree. He also has his Juris Doctor from Howard Law and his BS from SUNY New Paltz.
